Mission and Social Reformarion of Uchimura Ganzo

Uchimura Ganzo played a great role in building up the thoughts and spirits of the Japanese in the early twentieth century. He said that there is no qay to Christ without Cross and a genuine conversion. His experience of redemption reflected on his Christianity. He found in the justice of God the motivational power to establish a nation. He also saw japan under the judgement of God as well as the love Christ for Japan. from this point of view, he saw what Japan should do in the world, pointed out its problems and led Japan with prophetic insight. Uchimura Ganzo emphasized the spiritual living nature of the church which the Bible teaches. By means of the character of his theology, we intend to make him an example in our current church and mission fields. As a nationist, Uchimura Ganzo pursued the growth of Christianity in Japan by encouraging all kinds of missionary methods from the West. He urged the social reformation of faith after Luther. he had great enthusiasm in preaching the Gospel with all his effort throughout his life and ministry focus on the Gospel of the Cross for the Japan and all over the World. Uchimura Ganzowas devoted only to Jesus Christ and only lived with him. God gave Uchimura Ganzo to Japan as an evangelist.
