Tangun tomb document in Dongkukyeojiseungram is founded on Tangun transmission in Kangdong, Pyeongan-do. It means that the reference depends on an information by word of mouth. But because the compilation of Dongkukyeojiseungram is a government undertaking, the variation of transmissions about Tangun tomb has its limits. However from the point of view that Tangun is the founder of Old Joseon, it has more transmissions. King Sejo made royal tour to Pyeongyang in 1460. And he did a sacrificial rites on Tangun shrine there. It was progressed on the basis of a firm cognizance that Tangun was the father of Old Joseon. And it was the construction of his new majesty. King Sejo performed the sacrificial rites of Tangun shrine and he knew already Tongun tomb in Kangdong-hyun through Yang Sungji. Yang Sungji paid attention to royal tomb of Old Joseon before King Sejo is his royal tour of Pyeongyang.
