A Exploratory Study of Elderly education and Mission Method - Church Growth on a Case Study

This study is purposed to make sure that churches be responsible for elderly education, observe the level of educational needs of elders in order to activate elderly education within churches, prepare some appropriate programs for elders and consider some programs to improve elders’ social-cultural ability. Concretely considered, firstly, the theoretical basis should be considered through concerned documentary records. Secondly, the elders’ problems that are currently emerging as a serious social problem as aging society approaches should be studied in the aspect of elderly welfare. Thirdly, discussing what measures the churches can do to improve the elders’ welfare, this study introduced the elderly schools (or universities) that churches operate presently. Therefore, this study presents some programs to improve the elders’ welfare focused on the elders’ welfare programs of local communities and in the aspect of social-welfare, it approaches the elders’ problems and presents the elders’ welfare programs.
