최근 그린 IT가 기업경영에 있어 새로운 패러다임으로 자리 잡고 있다. 전 세계적으로 그린 IT를 신 성장 동력으로 고려하는 시점에서 본 연구는 한국의 그린IT국가전략의 주요의제와 관련하여 물류/유통산업에서 고려될 추진방안들을 제안 하고자 한다. 그린 IT는 IT 부문의 녹색화(green of IT)와 IT 융합에 의한 녹색화(green by IT)로 구분되며, 이를 기반으로 향후 물류/유통분야에서 고려되어야 할 연구분야와 업계의 향후 추진방안을 제시하였다.
Under the current circumstances, green information technology (IT) is becoming a new paradigm that focuses on the environment, not only for the present but also for the future of society. The principal objectives of this study are to propose some research agenda on green IT in conjunction with the Korea national green IT strategy and to suggest directions for future green IT studies in the distribution industry. The proposed research agenda are divided into green of IT and green by IT, which are major sectors in the attainment of a green IT society. The proposed suggestions attempt to present the guidelines to conduct an empirical research on green IT. The empirical assessment of the business value of adopting green IT will delineate green IT impacts on business.
