온라인 학습공동체 활용 워크숍 연수기법의 실천가능성 탐색

Exploring the Practicabilities of Workshop Training Techniques with an Online Learning Community

이 연구에서는 지식카페 활용 워크숍 운영 사례를 분석함으로써 온라인 학습공동체 활용 현장연계형 혼합학습 연수체제의 실천가능성을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 교육과학기술연수원에서 2006년부터5년 동안 운영한 지식카페 활용 워크숍 연수과정의 현황을 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통해 지식카페가 온라인 학습공동체와 유사한 특징이 있음을 밝혀내었다. 또한 지식카페가 분임활동의 활성화에 크게 기여하였고 일부 연수과정에서는 수료 이후에도 통합 지식카페를 구축하여 지속적으로 운영되고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 지식카페를 유지하고 관리하는데 따른 시간의 과다,지식카페에 대한 지속적인 관심 부족,연수과정에서 학습한 내용과 교육현장 간의 연계성 부족, 그리고 전문 지식의 지속적 학습보다는 친목도모와 정보교환에 치중하는 경향 등은 향후 극복과제로 대두되었다. 지식카페 활용 워크숍 연수기법의 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 분임활동에 국한한 지식카페를 전체 연수과정에 확대 적용할 것을 제시하였다. 특히 연수과정과 교육현장 간의 연계를 강화하는 온라인 학습공동체를 활용하는 현장연계형 혼합학습 연수체제를 도입해야 할 것을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the practicalities and limits of a new training system using an online learning community by analyzing knowledge cafe workshop program cases. Since 2006, the current status of workshop programs has been analyzed at the National Training Institute of Education, Science, and Technology (NEST), consistently for the last five years. The results showed that the knowledge cafe contributed to the revitalization of small group activities. Several knowledge cafes were integrated to a single cafe and often improvements were made off-line after training courses were completed at NEST. The introduction of a new blended learning system with an online learning community was suggested to strengthen the bond between training courses and onsite educational practices.
