학교급과 교사 경력에 따른 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도 및 실행수준 인식 차이

The Differences in Teachers' Conceptions of the Importance and Practice of Good Teaching According to the Level of School and Teaching Experience

본 연구는 좋은 수업의 특성에 대한 교사들의 중요도 및 실행도 인식이 학교급과 교사경력에 따라 어떤 차이가 있는지 분석함으로써 좋은 수업을 위한 학교급별, 경력별 시사점을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 초, 중, 고등학교 교사들을 대상으로 좋은 수업의 관점과 특성에 대한 중요도 및 실행 수준에 대한 인식을 설문조사하고 일원분산분석을 통해 그 차이를 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 좋은 수업에 대한 학교급별 중요도와 실행수준 인식의 차이분석에서는 다양한 항목에서 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 특히 실행수준은 조사한 모든 영역에 걸쳐 초등학교와 중등학교 간에 뚜렷한 차이를 보였고 초등학교에서 인식 수준이 높았다. 둘째, 좋은 수업에 대한 교사 경력별 차이가 일부 나타났고 전반적으로 경력이 많은 교사의 실행 수준이 높게 나타났다.그러나 학교급에 비해서 차이 나는 항목이 많지 않았고 교육내용,교육방법, 교육평가 영역에서는 경력에 따른 실행 수준의 인식 차이가 나타난 반면 좋은 수업에 대한 관점과 교육환경 영역에서는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교에서 좋은 수업을 실행하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in teachers' perceptions of the importance and practice of good teaching according to the level of schools and teaching experiences, then suggest the specific implications for good teaching by schools and teachers. For this study, a survey targeting teachers was conducted to identify their perceptions of good teaching, and a one-way ANOVA was used to analyze the differences. The results showed that there were significant differences in the scores of importance and practices for good teaching according to the level of the school. Specifically, more attributes were evidently different in practices of good teaching compared with perceptions of importance. Also, the differences between elementary and secondary school were distinct, and all of the scores in importance and practice were higher in elementary school. The results also showed that there were differences in conceptions of importance and practice of good teaching according to teaching experiences. In general, senior teachers perceived the attributes for good teaching to be more important, and practiced better than short-career teachers in school. Based on these results, the strategies for good teaching in school were suggested.
