The city has generally its own identity. Also Daegu, where is long history city has his own identity. Daegu have been preserved The form of the modern city in many disaster such as korean war. However, the historical space of Daegu did not get much attention. and the historical main area were destroyed without any doubt. Therefore, we should be interested in the change of the main space of the city And can preserve the historic space of the city through such an interest. This research is study for a change of the main space of Daegu center chiefly. and it is find the correct position and change process of the central space of Daegu in the Chosun period. This process is show not only the recognizing anew for the history space of the city but also various methods to establish city policy. Through this study, increased interest in the historical place of Daegu and tries to find a new way for utilizing of the historical place.
