傣族是生活在我国西南边境的一个跨境民族。据有文字记载，该民族在该地区生活已有上千年的历史。傣族人民在长期的生产实践中，已总结出一套适合当地地理条件和自然条件的生活习惯。并在此基础上，形成了适合傣族的一系列社会制度，包括法律制度。这些在历史中形成的法律制度，深深的契合在当地的社会文化中，调整、规范、整合着傣族社会。本文正是从这一理念出发，对傣族习惯法律制度进行梳理，以总结出他的特点。

Dai Zu is a frontier interstate nationality living in the southwest of our country. According to the writing record, this nationality had over a thousand year history in this local. The people of the Dai Zu ,in the long-term production practice, summarized a set of the habits and customs to suit the local geographical qualification and the natural condition. And based on this, they formed a series of social system of the Dai Zu, including legal system. These legal system which forms from the history, deep conjunction with local social culture, and adjust、standard and intergrate the society of the Dai Zu,. This article, by this idea, clears up the legal system of the Dai Zu,and then summarizes its characteristic.
