본 논문은 스라파의 『상품에 의한 상품생산』 출간 50주년을 기념하여 고전학파 경제학의 현대적 재구성이라는 스라파의 연구목적이 어떻게 발전되어왔는가를 살핀다. 스라파 경제학의 대표주자인 가레냐니는 스라파의 가격이론과 케인즈의 유효수요이론을 통합함으로써 현대 고전학파 체계를 발전시킬 것을 제안하고 있다. 이 제안에 기초하여 장기유효수요이론과 화폐적 분배이론이 발전되었고, 이와 더불어 다양한 현실경제 분석이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 가레냐니가 제안한 현대 고전학파 체계를 비판적으로 평가하고 현대 고전학파 체계의 향후 발전전망을 논한다.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the publication of Production of Commodities by Means of Commodities, this paper surveys some Sraffian studies along the lines of the modern reconstruction of classical economics. Garegnani suggested the modern classical system of thoughts based on the integration of Sraffa's price theory and Keynes' theory of effective demand. Garegnani's suggestion has inspired research towards the long period theory of effective demand and the monetary theory of distribution. This paper critically evaluates the modern classical school developed by Sraffians and discusses the future prospect of it.
