개화기 한자어의 유입과 관련 한자어의 형태적 특성 변화에 대한 논의

On the influx of Sino-Korean vocabulary during the 'Enlightment Period' in Korea and related changes in the morphological features of in the Sino-Korean lexicon

개화기에 적지 않은 한자어 유입이 있었고 이러한 한자의 유입은 전통적인 한자어에 영향을 주었다. 특히 ‘經濟’, ‘自由’와 관련된 형태론적 구성은 개화기 이전 시기와 다른 모습을 지니게 된다. 이것은 개화기에 있었던 한자어의 유입과 밀접한 관련을 지니고 있다. 전통적으로 쓰이는 ‘經濟’와 ‘自由’가 있었지만 새로운 의미를 지닌 ‘經濟’와 ‘自由’가 유입되면서 이전 시기와는 다른 형태론적 구성을 지니게 된다.

Numerous Sino-Korean words flowed into Korean during the ‘Enlightment Period’ and this influx affected traditional Sino-Korean words. The morphological constitutions used before this period, especially those concerning 經濟 ([kyengcey], ‘economy’) and 自由([cayu], ‘freedom’), showed configurations different from the earlier period. This phenomenon is closely related to the influx of Sino-Korean vocabulary 'Enlightenment Period'. Although there existed words ‘經濟’ and ‘自由’ that had been used traditionally, their morphological constitution changed due to the inflow of ‘經濟’ and ‘自由’ in their new meanings.
