본고는 코퍼스에 나타난 ‘-게’의 다양한 속성과 기능을 살펴 ‘-게’의 형태 ․ 통사적 특성을 규명하고자 하는 연구이다. 우선 ‘-게’가 세종계획에서 구축된 550만 어절 형태 분석 코퍼스에 나타나는 계량적 특성에 대해 자세히 살펴보고자 한다. 특히 ‘-게’가 결합하는 용언의 범주에 따라 그 분포가 다르다는 점에 기인하여 형용사와 동사로 나누어 그들의 속성을 밝힌다. 그리고 실제 코퍼스 상에 나타나는 분포적 특성을 함께 살펴서 ‘-게’의 범주적 특성에 대해 고찰한다. 본고에서는 ‘-게’가 형용사에 붙는 경우와 동사에 붙는 경우, ‘-하다/되다/만들다’ 등과 공기하는 경우가 그 쓰임이 다른 것으로 보아, ‘-게’가 여러 개의 범주 특성을 가질 수 있음을 제시한다. 특히 ‘-게’가 형용사와 결합하는 경우 파생접사적 성격을 갖는 경우가 있음을 제시할 것이다. 본고에서 제시한 이러한 ‘-게’의 형태 통사적 특성이 한국어 정보 처리에서 효율적 언어 처리 방안을 제시할 수 있음을 아울러 밝힐 것이다.
This paper aims at examining the morphological properties of the -key by observing the distribution and function of the -key in the corpus. First of all, I examined the statistical data in the Sejong's morphological analysis corpus. Especially, because the distribution of -key differs by whether -key combines verbs or adjectives, I observed the verbs and adjectives separately. The real sentences in the corpus is examined, and then I studies the categorial property of the -key. In this paper, I maintained that -key has various categories. Especially, I showed that the -key combining adjectives exposed the derivational affix characters. These characters of the -key will help to solve the difficult problem of the Korean language information processing.
