어미는 하나의 형태소일 수도 있고 여러 형태소로 구성될 수도 있다. 후자의 경우 분석된 형태소가 교체나 통사구조 형성에서 소극적일 수도 있지만 적극적일 수도 있다. 이 글은 이러한 점에 주목하여 어미의 형태분석에 따르는 이형태 교체의 문제와 통사구조 형성의 문제에 대한 해답을 모색하기 위해 작성한다. 먼저 (선)문말형태의 이형태 실현을 책임지는 이형태 규칙의 어휘잉여규칙적인 성격을 밝히고, 이형태 규칙의 규칙순에 대해서 살핀다. 이어 (선)문말형태가 분포의 제약성과 무관하게 일률적인 방식으로 통사구조에 참여함을 논의한다.
An ending can consist of one or more morphemes. In the latter case, the morpheme can be either positive or negative in terms of alternations or syntactic structure building. Based on these observations, this paper aims to solve the problem of alternations and syntactic structure building in the case of sentence (pre-) final morphemes. The main proposals are as follows. Firstly, allomorphy rules have the property of lexical redundancy rules and there can be rule ordering among allomorphy rules. Secondly, sentence (pre-)final morphemes are introduced into syntactic structure uniformly regardless of their distributional restrictions.
