본 연구의 목적은 나눔과 상생의 경제교육을 지향하는 ‘세시풍속과 연계한 경제교육’이 유아의 경제개념과 경제생활습관 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 유치원 2곳의 만 5세 학급을 각각 실험집단, 비교집단으로 임의 배정하여 프로그램 효과를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 세시풍속과 연계한 유아 경제교육프로그램이 유아의 경제개념 형성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 경제생활습관에서는 하위 영역인 집단생활습관 영역에서 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 세시풍속과 연계한 유아경제교육 프로그램이 단기적으로 실시되었음에도 불구하고 추상적이고 개념적인 경제개념 형성과 두레의 소중함을 알고 협력하는 태도 형성에 효과가 있음을 시사하고 있다.
The purpose of this research is to inspect the Effects of Economic Education Program Model for Young Children Related to Korean Seasonal Customs on Economic Concept and Economic Living Habits when they are applied to practice of young children' economic education program. The following are the questions for the research agenda. First, what is the effect that economic education program model for young children related to korean seasonal customs on economic concept? Second, what is the effect that economic education program model for young children related to korean seasonal customs on economic living habits? The subjects of this research were 56 children attending 2 class of kindergarten located in Seoul. One class was as the experimental group and other as the control group. In order to measure economic concept of young children, ‘Economic Concept Test for Young Children’ by Mija Park(2008) was used. And to measure economic living habits of young children, ‘Economic Living Habits for Young Children’ by Meoung Sun Jung & Hae Ik Hwang(2004) corrected by researcher was used. The collected data was analyzed through independence sample t-test was performed using SPSS 19.0 program. The following is the outcome and statement of this research. First, economic education program model for young children related to korean seasonal customs had the positive effect on improving young children’s economic concept. Second, economic education program model for young children related to korean seasonal customs didn't have the positive effect on improving young children’s economic living habits. But there was meaningful effect on ‘communal living habit’, so economic education program related to korean seasonal customs had the positive effect on Durae spirit(which is one of Korean community spirit for humanity, welfare and cooperation) and attitude of collaboration. A the results leads shows that economic education program model for young children related to korean seasonal customs on economic concept and communal living habit.
