국어 풀이씨 뒷가지의 유형

This paper aims at examining the types of predicative suffixes in modern Korean language

There are 4 types of predicative suffixes according to the bases related to and the parts of speech of the bases. And they can be classified by the meanings into stress suffix, emotional suffix, active suffix and passive suffix. Type 1 of suffix is that which is added to the base but doesn't change the parts of speech of the base. Type 2 is that which is added to the base but changes the parts of speech. Type 3 is that which is added to more than 2 bases and changes the parts of speech, but in some cases not. Type 4 is that which is added to more than 2 bases and changes the parts of speech. Modern Korean stress suffix includes “-뜨리-, -치-, -(이/으)키-, -앟/엏-, -다랗-, -차-.” Modern emotional suffix includes “‘-(으)ㅂ-, -갑/겁-, -압/업-, -얍/엽-, -답-, -롭-, -스럽-.” Modern Korean active suffix includes “‘-이-, -히-, -리-, -기-, -우-, -구-, -추-.” Modern Korean passive suffix includes “‘-이-, -히-, -리-, -기 -”(PyeongTaek University)
