초등 영재와 일반학생의 음악경험 및 음악흥미도의 차이 비교

Comparison of Difference between Music Experience and Interest Level of Elementary Gifted Children and General Students

본 연구는 영재와 일반학생의 음악경험 및 음악 흥미도의 차이를 비교하여 최근 활성화되고 있는 영재를 위한 예술교육활성화 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 현재 가장 폭넓게 시행되고 있는 국내 영재교육의 분야인 과학, 수학, 수 과학 분야 초등영재 119명과 일반학생 73명을 대상으로 음악경험 및 흥미도의 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 영재 및 일반학생들의 유.초등기 음악경험은 모두 중간대의 점수 수준으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 영재학생들의 음악 흥미도는 대체로 중간대의 점수 수준에 분포되어 있었으나, 과학영재와 일반학생들이 수학, 수 과학 영재들에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 학년 간 차이는 없으나, 음악경험 및 흥미도 모두 여학생이 남학생에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.

This study has significance in offering basic data to arranging a plan for vitalizing art education for gifted children, which is being activated these days, by comparing difference between music experience and interest level in the gifted children and general students. The difference between music experience and interest level of the gifted children in each field was comparatively analyzed targeting 73 general students and 119 elementary gifted children in the fields of science, mathematics, and mathematics & science, which are the gifted education fields at home that are being enforced now most extensively. As a result of researching, first, the music experience in babyhood and childhood of the gifted children and general students was indicated all to be mid level. Second, the music interest level is distributed in the mid level. The science-gifted children and general students were surveyed to be significantly higher compared to the gifted children in mathematics and mathematics & science. Third, there is no difference between school years. However, girl students were indicated to be significantly higher compared to boy students in both music experience and interest level.
