음악감상을 통한 표현활동이 유아의 정서지능과 음악능력에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Expression Activity through Music Appreciation on Young Children’s Emotion Intelligence and Music Ability

본 연구는 음악 감상을 통한 표현활동이 유아의 정서지능과 음악능력에 향상에 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 대상은 만 5세 유아 46명(실험집단 23명, 비교집단 23명)으로 실험집단 유아에게는 주 2-3회 총 18회 음악 감상을 통한 표현활동을 실시하였으며 비교집단은 같은 기간 동안 듣기활동만 실시하였다. 음악 감상을 통한 표현활동의 교육적 효과를 검증하기 위하여, 활동 실시 전.후에 정서지능 검사와 음악능력 검사를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료들은 SPSS 11.0 Window용 프로그램을 이용하여 통계 처리하여 집단 간 차이를 t-검증으로 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 음악 감상을 통한 표현활동은 실험집단 유아의 정서지능과 음악능력 향상에 있어서 비교집단 보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 음악 감상을 통한 표현활동은 유아의 정서지능과 음악능력을 효과적으로 증진시킬 수 있는 교수 학습방법으로 유아교육현장에 적극적으로 적용할 것을 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of ex press ion activity through music appreciation on the development of young children’s emotion intelligence and music ability. The subjects were 46 five-year-old kindergartners. The subjects were divided into an experimental group and a comparison group. The experimental group were given the expression activity th rough music appreciation and the comparison group were given the music appreciation. The program was carried out for 10 weeks. An emotion intelligence test and a music expression ability test were applied to both groups before and after the experiment to find out the effect of expression activity through music appreciation. The data was analyzed by t-test with SPSS 11.0 WIN program. The result of this study shows that the experimental group has higher statistical significance in scores of emotion intelligence and music ability than those of comparative group.
