A Study on Iltifāt in the Arabic Language -Case and Tense-

Is the Quran the literary perfect masterpiece? and is it the divine literary miracle as the muslim have believed? This is the one of the hottest issues around the Quran. The european orientalists have attacked the Islam and the Quran showing the Quran's the grammatical errors in order to prove the Quran's imperfect as the linguistic materials. But the muslim scholars have defended it giving the classical Arabic's characters and features. ʔIltifāt is the main theme the above controversy. ʔIltifāt is the terminology in Arabic rhetoric translated 'shift'. It is used for turning aside in speech to talk about something before continuing with the original subject. The Arab muslim scholars have used this terminology to explain the grammatical diversities and deviations in the Quran. In this article, I deal the noun's case and the verb's tense among the kind of the ʔIltifāt. This research will be the base to inspect the Quran's grammatical perfectness. Also I will investigate the ʔIltifāt's generality and it's rules.
