This study is to focus on the syncretic motifs of the Alevi sect in Turkey. The Alevi sect in Turkey is referred to as a kind of syncretism formed as a result of Turkic peoples' long interaction with different beliefs and cultures over different regions and time periods. It is as a result heterodox, posing a remarkable contrast not only with Sunni Islam but also with the orthodox Shiism of Iran. According to the heroic deeds of Babailer(Vilayetname or Menakıbname), we can find a lot of different religious motifs of the Alevi. In this study I tried to find the various religious motifs( Naturism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity). Firstly, I tried to find the motifs of mountain worship and stone worship as the motifs of Naturism. Secondly, I tried to find the motifs of reincarnation and the animal metamorphosis as the motifs of Buddism. Thirdly, I tried to find the motifs of fire worship as the motifs of Zoroastrianism. Lastly, I tried to find the motifs of miracles performed by Jesus Christ as the motifs of Christianity.
