The meaning of 'Pal Gwan' is to serve gods of heaven spirits, five evils, noted mountain and large rivers. Pal Gwan Festival (八關會) was a kind of festival like Thanksgiving Day with connection to traditional faith from Shilla dynasty to the end of Koryo dynasty for over eight hundred years and was ceremonial with mixture of Buddhism on the traditional ancient faith. Pal Gwam Festival has been held on every year together with Yon Deng Festival (燃燈會) which were the two most important festival in Koryo Dynasty. At the time of holding the above two festival, there were six proprieties of which include flower offering, incense offering, tea offering, soup offering musical offering and dance offering. The object of this paper is to study the above six proprieties of 'Pal Gwan Festival and develope its comprehensive arts. This paper concludes that the above six proprieties of 'Pal Gwan Festival' were really a genre of comprehensive arts which was harmonized with looking, listening, smelling, tastes and sense of touch.
