건강장애학생의 학교복귀지원을 위한 프로그램 개발 연구

The Bridge Course Development for the School Reentry Support of Children with Health Impairment

건강장애로 등록된 학생 수가 최근 증가하고 있으나, 학교로 복귀하기 까지 다양한 어려움에 직면하고 있다. 건강장애학생들의 교육지원에 대한 연구들은 최근에 많이 이루어졌으나, 이들의 학교복귀를 돕기 위한 구체적인 논의는 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구는 건강장애학생들의 학교복귀에 대한 의미를 알아보고, 치료를 마친 후 성공적으로 학교에 복귀할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램의 요소와 그에 대한 기초자료를 수집하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학교복귀의 경험이 있는 건강장애학생 4명과 학부모 4명, 병원학교 교사 6명, 일반학교 교사 3명, 병원학교 전문가 4명, 총 21명을 대상으로 반구조화된 심층면담을 실시하여 학교복귀에 대한 인식과 경험에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 지속적 비교분석법을 이용하여 질적 분석한 결과 3가지 주제가 도출되었다. (1) 학교복귀에 대한 인식, (2) 학교복귀와 관련된 중요한 기술, (3) 학교복귀 프로그램 요소. 논의에서는 본 연구의 결과를 중심으로 건장장애학생의 학교복귀를 지원할 수 있는 연계 프로그램과 관련한 지원에 대하여 논의하였고 앞으로의 나가야 할 학교복귀 지원 방안을 제시하였다.

In recent years, students with health impairment are increased. But they may experiences many difficulties when they are going back to school. The researches of educational support model for students with health impairment became accomplished, but the discussion which is concrete is insufficient. The purpose of this study examines meaning about school reentry and to provide the basic data for the school reentry program of children with health impairment. In this study, interviewed students themselves, mothers, regular class teachers, special teacher in hospital and medical staff about the support of school reentry. The data used constant comparative methods and analyzed. Three themes emerged from qualitative analysis: (1) recognition of school reentry, (2) the contents which is important relates with the school reentry, (3) the quality which will be include in school reentry program. Finally, the critical elements and future direction of the supports for successful school reentry in hospital school settings were presented based on the results of study.
