The International Chamber of Commerce(ICC) published the latest version of internationally-recognized trade terms such as FOB, CFR, and CIF, more popularly known simply as Incoterms？？ 2010. Incoterms 2010 was launched in September and will come into effect on January 1, 2011. Incoterms were first published by the ICC in 1936. Amendments and additions were later made in 1953, 1967, 1976, 1980, 1990, 2000 and presently in 2010 in order to keep pace with the development of international trade. Incoterms were revised every ten years, since their revision in 1980. The new Incoterms 2010 rules have new terms and revised classifications and interpretation of rules to provide greater clarity. The purpose of this paper is to provide the main contents on revisions of Incoterms 2010.
