The Operation System of Electronic Bills of Exchange in China

China has built the Electronic commercial draft system which can issue and transfer bills of exchange electronically in 2009. At the same time, China also has established the operating regulation about business of electronic commercial draft. Because bills of exchange conform to the law of the place of the act, we also should legislate the laws about electronic bills of exchange in Korea as soon as possible. In the future, we should review and reform the law of Bills or law about issuance and negotiation of electronic bills. Therefore, we would examine the electronic commercial draft system and rule about electronic bills of exchange have been built in China. The purpose of this study is to help to develop electronic bills of exchange system and to reform and legislate law about electronic bills of exchange in Korea.
