寧古塔에 對한 歷史地理的 考察

A Historical-Geographical Study on Ningguta

본 연구는 독자들로 하여금 영고탑에 대해 보다 정확히 이해하도록 하기 위해 주로 중국 연구자들의 연구를 바탕으로 역사지리적 관점에서 영고탑에 대한 인식, 영고탑의 의미와 등장, 영역, 위치 등에 대해 살펴보았다. 한국에서 영고탑에 대한 인식은 주로 영고탑 회귀설을 통해서 확대되었지만 당시 만주 지역에 대한 지리지식의 부족으로 영고탑에 대해 정확히 이해하지 못하였다. 영고탑의 의미에 대해서는 다양한 설이 존재하여 혼란을 야기하지만 모두 '寧古'가 "六"이라는 것에 대해서는 異見이 없었다. 영고탑이라는 명칭은 흑룡강과 요녕성에서 서로 다른 시기에 등장하였다. 그러나 많은 영고탑 연구자들이 양자를 하나로 혼돈 하는 경우가 많다. 이는 앞으로 지양되어야 할 것이다.

In order to understand Ningguta(寧古塔) more accurately, this study mainly investigated Chinese researchers’ observations on people's understanding about Ningguta; Ningguta's semantic, emergence, area and location, etc. In South Korea, people's understanding about Ningguta expand maily through the "Ningguta Return Said". However, because of the poor Manchuria geographical knowledge, people couldn't know Ningguta accurately. There are a lot of arguments about Ningguta's semantic, and it causes some confusion, but nearly every study considers 'nonggun' as "six". The name of Ningguta appeared in Heilongjiang province and Liaoning province in different periods, and many Ningguta researchers mistake them as the same one. We should avoid such mistake in the future.
