This paper analyzes the effect of food service employees' job satisfaction on the turnover intention. To accomplish the objectives of the study, the hypothesis was set up based on precedent researches, the primary preliminary investigation was conducted toward the hypothesis and collected data were analyzed by survey research. The data for empirical analysis are limited to workers at the outlets’ food and beverage service department and food service industry employees working at the production department of nationwide 90 stores in 31 places such as contract food service companies, family restaurants, and top class hotels in Korea. Among 700 distributed questionnaires , 680 were collected and 667 were used for an empirical analysis. Following results are obtained by analyzing organized path model with subjective measured variables of job satisfaction, job commitment and turnover intention of the food service industry employees: the job satisfaction variable of food service industry employees gives a direct influence on organization commitment variable.
