Implementing Risk Visualization System of National Maritime Police Agency

이 논문에서는 위기상황 가시화 시스템(RVS)의 프로토타입 구현에 관하여 기술하였다. RVS는, 대한민국 해양경찰청의 위기 관리 시스템(RMS)의 하나의 세부 시스템으로서, 이 연구에서는 가상현실 기법을 적용하여 개발하였다. 개발한 프로토타입 RVS를 이용하여 여러 가지 해상환경에 대한 가시화 실험을 한 결과, 3차원 객체와의 상호작용 유발로 자연스러운 해상장면 연출이 가능하였다. 따라서, RVS가 RMS의 가시화 시스템으로서 유효한 시스템임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The paper deals with the implementation of prototype Risk Visualization System(RVS). The RVS is one of the sub-system of Risk Management System (RMS) of National Maritime Police Agency in Korea. In this work, prototype RVS was constructed with virtual reality techniques. Using the prototype RVS, we carried out some performance tests for the various environmental conditions at sea. As results from tests, the prototype RVS can provide immersible virtual world. The results gave rise to the user interaction with 3D objects that give realistic reproduction of sea environments. Thus, we found that the prototype RVS should be a immersible visualization system of Risk Management System.
