1922년 친영(親迎)시 영친왕비 수식구(首節具)의 제작기법 연구

A Study on the Making Technique of Hair Ornaments Youngchin Queen's in ChinYoung 1922

영친왕비 대수의 수식구는 1922년 영친왕일가가 조선을 방문하여 친영의 예를 올릴 때 영친왕비가 착용한 것으로 현재 국립고궁박물관에서 소장, 관리하고 있다. 이것은 조선왕조의 왕실예법을 이어온 최후의 수식구로 각종 문헌 기록을 뒷받침하는 소중한 유물이다. 또한 예술성과 조형성이 뛰어나며 다종다양한 종별과 재료와 기법을 보여주고 있어 현대 장신구로 활용할 수 있는 여러 가지 가능성을 갖고 있다. 이러한 수식구를 현대 장신구에 활용하기 위해서 영친왕비의 1922년 친영 시에 착용한 대수(大首)의 수식구를 분석 연구하였다. 이를 위해 우선 영친왕과 영친왕비의 혼례와 친영에 대해 알아보고 대수머리에 사용된 수식구의 종별을 분류하였다. 그리고 종별에 따라 기법을 중심으로 재료와 문양, 색채 등의 조형성을 분석하였다. 수식구는 은, 옥, 진주, 비취모, 청파리, 홍파리, 산호, 파란, 밀납 등의 재료로 조각기법과 투각기법을 이용해서 형태와 문양을 만들었고, 알물림(setting), 점취법(点翠去), 스탬핑(stamping), 선조세공(filigree), 감기, 파란 등의 기법을 이용하여 장식하였다. 이 기법들 중 비취모를 붙인 점취법은 장신구에 사용되는 재료가 다양해진 현대에서 얼마든지 활용할 수 있는 기법임을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 최고의 미적 가치와 예술성을 지닌 왕실 장신구의 우수성을 재확인하고 전통적인 기법을 현대적으로 활용할 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 한다. 아울러 이러한 전통적인 기법이 현대의 다양한 재료와 조화시킨 장신구의 개발이 이루어지길 기대한다.

The Youngchin queen’s Daesu which is currently in the management of the National Palace Museum as an artifact was used to show the family welcoming manners in 1922 when the youngchin family visited chosun. This valuable artifact can support the various documentary records as it is the final result of the royal ceremonial phases of the Chosun Dynasty. The art and the modeling is excellent, and it has a variety of assortments, materials, and techniques which shows us the possibility to be used in modern jewelry. They analyzed and studied the Daesu which was wore at the welcoming event in 1922 by the youngchin queen, in order to take advantage of this artifact to develop modern accessories rather than just simply reproducing or imitating the form. For this purpose, learn about the wedding of king youngchin and queen youngchin and ChinYoung(親迎) prior to classify the species of hair ornament. And according to the classification scheme based on material and pattern, color and molding were analyzed. The materials used in the artifact are jade, pearls, bichwimo, cheongpari, hongpari, coral, blue, wax, and so on. Shapes and patterns were made by Carving techniques and tugak techniques, and decorated by using techniques such as setting, jeomchwibeop(点翠去), stamping. filigree, gamgi, and paran. Idea of this technique, entitled jeomchwibeop with. jade jewelry attached can be utilized in modern times in the varied materials techniques. Through this study, with the highest aesthetic values and artistic excellence of the royal ornaments to reaffirm the traditional method has been modernized to take advantage of the opportunity to. I hope this study can be an opportunity for us to use the traditional methods in modern ways. and also help us in reaffirming the highest aesthetic values and artistic excellence of royal ornaments. In addition. I look forward to the development of ornaments with a variety of modern materials and traditional techniques in harmony.
