결혼이민여성의 직업활동과 역량강화에 관한 연구

Money-Earning Activities and Empowerment Experiences of Migrant Women in Korea

본 연구는 결혼이민여성 중 직업활동을 통해 자신의 능력을 발휘하고 있는 여성들의 사례를 발굴하여 이들의 직업활동 특성과 역량강화과정에서 무엇이 직업활동을 성공적으로 돕는 역량강화의 요인인지를 질적 연구방법을 통하여 분석하였다. 구체적으로는 2년 이상 직업활동을 유지하고 있는 9명의 결혼이민여성과 심층면접하여 자료를 수집하고, 수집된 자료를 가지고 범주화 분석과 주제분석을 실시하였다. 최종적으로 발견된 주제들은 '혼돈에 도전장을 내밀어요', '돈을 벌어야 해요', '내 스스로 찾았어요', '공공자원이 산파역할을 했어요', '내안의 보물상자를 꺼냈어요', ' 가족은 나의 수호천사예요', '나에겐 좋은 이웃이 있어요', '나라가 나의 버팀목이에요', '끊임없는 노력이 필요해요', '제도의 벽에 도전해요', '차별없는 세상을 만들어요' 등이었다. 연구결과에 근거하여 결혼이민여성의 직업과 역량강화에서 가장 중요한 것으로 결혼이민여성의 강점과 자기결정권의 권리를 융합하면서 자원 구축의 차원을 미시, 중도, 거시적 차원에서 다양한 개입전략을 제언하였다.

This study has focused an analysis of immigrant women who demonstrate empowerment through having a job. The p따pose of this study is to ask what is the successful empowerment factor of immigrant women who work in a job. The study method was a qualitative study. The study was conducted through in-depth interviews with 9 immigrant women who had jobs over 2 years. Base on the interviews, analysis of category and theme were performed. As a result, 'challenging in the confusion,' 'making the money is needed,' 'finding by myself, 'government has the job of midwife,' 'bring up a treasure ship in my mind,' 'family is my angel,' 'country is supporting wall,' 'making an effort continually,' 'making a world without discrimination' were what the outcome was. This study suggests various and important interventions such as the networking of women's environment in the micro and macro levels and recognizing their strength and self-determination.
