Organization and Activities of 'Japan Publication Department of Committee for Reconstruction of the Korean Communist Party(JPDC)'

'Japan Publication Department of Council for Reconstruction of the Korea Communist Party(JPDC) was organized in May 1932. As a political front, JPDC included many members of 'Labor Class Company' and controlled their activities. JPDC had a close link with the Japan Communist Party(JCP) and the related organizations in which its members participated. In July 1932, JPDC began to take actions in colonial Korea. Meanwhile, the JPC created a special; committee in September 1932 and approved Konno Yoziro and Kin Chijung's suggestion to send activists to Korea. According to the decision, JPDC rearranged its own organization and may activities went to Korea by the spring of 1933. JPDC conducted organized struggles together with the Japanese social movement groups including the JCP, the Japanese Anti-imperialist League, Japan National Council of Labor Unions, and Japan Association of Proletarian Culture. JPDC was a representative organization of Koreans living in Japan designed for the reconstruction of the Communist Party. Its activities lay on the organizational basis of 'the Labor Class Company.' Though JPDC had some limitations because of its internationalism and intellectual-oriented activities, the fact hat it could extend its activities to Korea under the JCP's leadership is remarkable. The next step of study is to investigate relationship with other 'reconstruction' group and to compare their strategies and tactics.
