Since SMEs have difficulties from lacked resources and international experience, they might have less competitive advantages than large companies. Despite of these problems, SMEs have entered overseas markets increasingly for heightening opportunities and competitiveness. NPD strategies of SMEs are important to increase a competitive advantage. From these views, this study focuses on NPD strategies of Korean SMEs, and how their international orientation affects on NPD performance. In addition, this study will be showed the moderator effects of external and internal environmental factors on relationship between international orientation and performance. The findings of this study indicated that international orientation affect on NPD performance positively, and the lower is environmental uncertainty, the higher positive effects of international orientation on NPD performance.
