This study was to explain the benefit of participating in dance sports as a leisure activity for middle-aged men. The benefit awarded to middle age men who are participating in dance sports are as follows: Firstly, participating in dance sports provides a positive attitude toward leisure activity since families and couples can enjoy it. Participants can create his own identify, and this activity helps to lead a creative and abundant life with self-growth. Secondly, from physical perspective, dance sports participation helps to effectively use physical function by using proper amount of muscle, for harmonious physical balance to participants. Thirdly, from psychological perspective, dance sports helps to prevent stress build up and release stress for middle-aged men. Besides, it gives significant effects not only to pursuing individual beauty and physical health, but also to building emotional health such as egoism, emotional richness and self-esteem. Participating in dance sports as a leisure activity for middle age group provides positive effect on the satisfaction and continuance of leisure, since the participants tend to join the sports by their own will. In addition, participating in dance sports gives a rest and balance for both physical and psychological aspect as well.
