Design problems are omnipresent in the corporate world. The ill-structuredness and complexity of design problems often make it difficult for professionals to achieve fully satisfactory outcomes. Professionals can gain expertise with design problem solving skills in corporate settings by developing reflective thinking abilities. In this article, the different dimensions of reflective thinking are presented in an integrated model, which aims to guide human resource development scholars as well as specialists to examine professionals`reflective thinking during the process of solving design problems. Followed by the integrated model is the discussion on the concerns of encouraging reflective activities in the corporate world. The article will conclude with the directions for the future research on reflective thinking in solving design problems in corporate settings.
