물류정보시스템을 이용한 효율적 물류관리 사례연구

Case study on efficient logistics management by utilizing logistics information system

최근 물류비용이 국제 경쟁력에 미치는 영향은 지대한 것으로, 이는 국내 제품의 경쟁력이 단순히 가격과 품질이라는 고전적 평가요소 이외에 신속, 정확하게 고객의 요구에 부응할 수 있도록 하는 것이 또 다른 경쟁 요소로 등장하고 있다. 한편 소비자 욕구가 개성화, 다양화되어 가고 고객의 서비스 향상과 경쟁우위 확보에 물류가 차지하는 비중이 날로 커지고 있는 현 상황에서, 최후의 미개척 분야, 제3의 이윤원이라고 일컬어지는 물류관리의 개념이 기업경영에 보다 활발하게 적용되어야 할 시점에 도달하고 있다. 이에 따라 최근 국내 각 기업에서는 물류 및 물류정보시스템 구축에 관한 관심이 고조되기 시작하여 이에 대한 조사와 현황분석이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물류관리 효율화를 위한 효율적인 정보시스템 구축에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하기 시작하여, 기존의 연구결과들을 정의, 검토하고 그를 토대로 사례연구를 실시하여 국내 기업의 물류정보시스템 구축 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 사례연구를 통해서 한국 기업들에게 물류부문에 보다 적극적인 관심과 그 연구의 필요성을 재검토하도록 하고, 물류정보시스템 구축방안에 대한 사례분석을 통해 효율적인 물류시스템 구축 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of the present study is to provide people with opportunities to compare and benchmark other companies that have established and operated logistics information system through the analysis of the progress and performance by taking into consideration the international and domestic cases which have been successful in promoting efficient logistics management. In addition, in order to set up a goal and direction to evaluate and improve the competitiveness of logistics management. Moreover, the thesis explores and analyzes the factors that can affect the establishment of efficient information system which can enhance the efficiency of logistics management and presents ways to establish logistics information system in domestics companies by defining and reviewing the existing research results based upon various case studies. This study will encourage Korean companies to take a more active interest in logistics management and to feel the need to carry out more research activities in this area. This study can find its usefulness for being able to provide a direction in promoting efficient logistics management by analyzing the case studies related to the establishment of logistics information system.
