국내 장애학생 고등교육의 연구동향과 과제

An Analysis of Research Trends on the Higher Education for Students with Disabilities in South Korea

본 연구는 국내의 장애학생 고등교육과 관련된 연구논문들을 분석하여 전반적인 연구동향을 파악하고 분석함으로써 향후 연구과제에 대한 시사점을 도출하고 앞으로 고등교육 연구의 활성화를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2010년 12월까지 한국연구재단 등재 또는 등재후보 학술지에 발표된 총 68편의 논문을 선정하였으며, 구체적으로 연구주제, 연구방법, 연구대상, 연구내용의 세부 분야별로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 연구주제는 인식조사, 실태 및 현황 파악을 주제로 한 연구논문이 가장 많았으며, 대부분의 연구들이 조사연구 방법을 사용하였다. 연구대상에 따른 분석 결과, 장애학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았고 이 중, 감각장애와 지체장애 학생들이 대부분을 차지하였다. 연구내용의 세부 분야는 장애학생들의 학습 및 교육 관련 지원 서비스에 관한 논문과 태도, 기대감, 인식 등에 관한 논문이 다수를 차지하였다. 이러한 연구결과들을 토대로 향후 다양한 연구 분야와 대상을 다룬 고등교육 연구의 확장과 학제간 연구의 필요성 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of the study was to analyze the research trends and suggest future research directions in higher education for students with disabilities. The search procedures through the Web-database system were implemented to find the proper research. A total of 68 articles met the criteria for analysis and were included in this review. Each article was analyzed according to the topics, methods, subjects, and areas of research contents. The results indicated that research topics seemed to be concentrated in the specific area such as perception issues and current status related to the higher education. Additionally, it was founded that most of the research methods were survey and most of the subjects in research were college students with sensory and physical disabilities. The results showed that the content areas of research were concentrated in the education services and supports, also in the attitude and perceptions towards higher education. Based on the results, a variety of research areas and subjects was suggested, and additionally an inter-disciplinary approach was emphasized.
