The Necessity and Feasibility of the Russian Tourist Market Development for Zhejiang province

With the "national year" activities in the 2006 and 2007, China and Russia further expand cooperation in tourism. Following Japan and South Korea, Russia has become China's third-largest tourist source country. However, the Russian multi-destination trip to China mainly concentrated in five Northern provinces and cities, namely, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang. Zhejiang province, holding the rich natural tourism resources and ecological tourism resources, received 18,712 Russian tourists in 2004, 28,136 in 2005, and 40,300 in 2006. However, the person-time of Heilongjiang province for receiving Russian visitors has already reached 230,000. So it is necessary for Zhejiang province to expand the development of Russian tourist market and tourism products. This article aims to explore the necessity and the feasibility for Zhejiang province to develop the Russian tourist market, and to give a new idea for Zhejiang province to develop Russian tourist market and marketing operation, and to promote the bilateral economics development and full development for Zhejiang tourisim. 随着2006和2007年中俄两国互办"国家年" 的活动,中俄旅游合作进一步扩大,俄罗斯已经成为继日、韩之后的中国第三大旅游客源因。但是,俄罗斯旅华目的地多集中在北方的五省市,即黑龙江、古林、辽宁,内蒙及新疆。而拥有丰富自然旅游资源和人文旅游资源的浙江省,2004年接待入境俄罗斯旅游者人数为1.8712万人,2005年为2.8136万人,2006年为4.03万人。而黑龙江省1997年接待的俄罗斯游客人数己达到23万人次,可见,浙江省有必要加大对俄罗斯旅游客源市场此旅游产品的开发。本文旨在探讨浙江省开发俄罗斯旅游市场的必要性及可行性,为浙江省开发俄罗斯旅游客源市场及市场运作提供新思路,以促进双边经济的发展,促进浙江省旅游大发展。
