This research aims at studying the development of cultural tourism in Sistan. The existence of some landmarks such as Share-e Sokhteh(Burnt City) dating back to 5000 years ago, Kohe Khajeh and other cultural sites has made the city to be capable of being a tourism site. Because of a variety of shortages, poverty, lack of required studies the tourism industry has not is adequately development. It also maintains that because of Geographical, Economical, Social and cultural conditions, cultural tourism is the best basis for the sustainable development of the region. Tourism industry in this region has engaged the attraction of many local, national and international tourists. Finally, it is discussed that tourism industry can leads into the development of employment incomes and general development of the region.
