This study examines the characteristics of Tourism Communication, using data collected from survey on the convention participants’ time consuming pattern. The survey was conducted with the time as a variable, and the survey result represents the categorial division of communication, that is, general information, cultural information, and professional information. The first two communication types belong to the tourism communication, and the last type forms business communication, which exactly embodies the general characteristics on convention, the combination of tourism and business, and it also verifies the difference between Tourism Communication and Business Communication.
