This study attempts to identify current situations of Korea-China tourism cooperation, preexisting or emerging inhibitors. and solutions. This study’s approach is to assess matters surrounding two countries from many aspects including political, diplomatic, economic, military, cultural cooperation. One important contribution of this study is to find tourist flow between two countries with a broad, historical, world history views rather than cross-sectional data analyses. The number of Korean tourists to China has been increasing explosively since 1989 when overseas tourism market for Koreans was opened. About 33.9% of overseas Korean tourists visited China in 2006. Likewise. 2.6% of Chinese overseas tourists visited Korea in 2006. Thus results of this study are very useful in understanding inclusive perspectives and various factors which could influence bilateral tourist flow. This approach is likely to be more precise and broader description of two countries based on historical tracks.
