‘경복궁을 활용한 한국문화교육의 필요성과 그 의미

The Necessity and Significance of Korean Culture Education with Applying Kyungbok Palace

지금까지 경복궁을 활용한 한국문화교육의 필요성과 그 의미에 대해 살펴보았다. 외국인 학습자를 대상으로 한 체험 학습에 목적을 두고 작성된 만큼 문화 교육 자료로서 경복궁이 갖는 가치에 주안점을 두었다. 본고가 지닌 문화교육적 의미와 그 효용성을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 문화 속에 담긴 역사성에 주목함으로써 문화와 역사를 통섭하는 교육이 될 수 있도록 하였다. 둘째, 경복궁 속에 담겨 있는 한국인의 사상 체계를 유교사상, 풍수지리사상 등으로 체계화함으로써 실천 윤리와 사상 체계를 활용한 문화 교육이 되도록 하였다. 셋째, 그 동안 병렬적 개별적으로 소개된 건축물과 문화재들을 주제별로 묶어 설명함으로써 외국인 학습자들이 한국인의 의식 세계와 정서를 보다 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하였다. 넷째, 문화재 견학을 통한 체험 학습이 한국 문화를 교육하는 방법적인 면에서 충분한 가치성과 효용성을 지니고 있음을 강조하였다.

So far this study researched the necessity and significance of Korean Culture Education with applying Kyungbok Palace. Also, this study focused on the value of Kyungbok Palace as a material of culture education because it was purposed to practice foreign learners in the experience study. The significance and usefulness of this study in culture education are followings; Firstly, this study researched the educational method combining the cultural and historical education as focusing on the historical features in Korean culture. Secondly, this study researched the method of culture education utilizing the practical ethics and ideological system by systematizing Korean ideological system as the Confucian ideas and geomancy from Kyungbok Palace. Thirdly, this study researched the easy way for foreign learners to understand the Korean way of thinking and sentiment with explaining architectures and cultural properties not the way of arranging in a line but combining subjects. Fourthly, this study emphasized that the experience study of cultural properties is having the value and effectiveness of Korean culture education in aspectof the way of education.
