戰時期 朝鮮人 勞務者 强制動員과 原爆被害

Forced Mobilization of Korean Workers during World War Ⅱ and Atomic Bombings －on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Area－

本稿は広島市と長崎市に強制動員された朝鮮人労務者を中心に、強制動員の実態を追求し、同時に朝鮮人原爆被爆の実態をも究明するものである。 これまで朝鮮人原爆被爆に関する問題は、生存者の聞き取りをもとに当時を再構成したり、朝鮮人にとって原爆は如何なるものか、等が中心になって扱われてきた。関連資料の絶対的な不足のなか、朝鮮人被害はおろか全体の被害状況も分からない現状での研究動向である。 さて、原爆投下当時長崎市と広島市には、大量の朝鮮人がいた。彼らは戦時日本の軍需工業を担うべく朝鮮や日本「内地」から強制動員された朝鮮人であった。ところが、彼ら強制動員された朝鮮人を視角においた研究はほとんどない。本稿は、朝鮮人強制動員研究が朝鮮人原爆被爆につながる重要なファクターであることに着目し、日本政府が公開した名簿類と生存者聞き取り等を駆使して朝鮮人強制動員と原爆被爆を究明しようとした。 本稿で確認した事実をもとめると以下の通りである。 第一に、朝鮮人強制動員の実態を見た結果、どの地域の出身者が原爆被爆をうけたのか、またその数はどのくらいになるのか、等がわかった。前者の場合、広島市は韓国の陜川出身被害者が多いと知られてきたが、実は京城をはじめ京畿道出身者が多かったことがわかった。後者の場合、長崎市所在主要作業場に限ると約一万人以上の朝鮮人がいたことがわかり、また朝鮮北部出身者が多かったことがわかった。 第二に、朝鮮人の被爆の様相は両地域において互いに異なるものであった。広島市は長崎市に比べて相対的に直接被爆による被害が大きかったと見られ、反対に長崎市は広島市に比べて相対的に人命救助や復旧作業等への動員により、放射能汚染という間接被爆の被害が大きかったことと思われる。

This paper intends to investigate the reality of the forced mobilization of Korean laborers to Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Korean victims of the atomic bomb. Most of previous research on the Korean victims of atomic bomb have focused on revealing the situation by interviewing the survivors or on contemplating the significance of atomic bombs. Due to the absolute lack of related resources, the precise survey on the damage that the Korean victims suffered from has been considered almost impossible. During World War II, there was an influx of forcefully mobilized Koreans in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Most previous studies failed to analyse them as victims of atomic bombings. In this paper, being aware that the study of the forced mobilization is an important process in order to study the victims of atomic bombs, I analysed the situation based on laborers’ lists and the documents about survivors. These are my conclusions of the research. First, by studying the conditions of forced mobilization, I could confirm the regions where the Korean victims were mobilized from and the extent of damage by atomic bombings. For example, there were many victims from Gyeonggi-do in Hiroshima while it has been generally known that they were moslty from Habcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do so far. On the other hand, in Nagasaki, there were about 10,000 workers mobilized from Korea, many of whom were from North Korea. Second, the aspects of the radiation damage appeared differently in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The direct damage by atomic bombings was bigger in Hiroshima. In Nagasaki, relatively bigger was the indirect damage, caused by the remaining radioactive effects during rescue operations or restoration work.
