한ㆍ일 간 ‘契’와 ‘契約’의 비교 연구

This study is the comparison between the Sinomatsuura Ikki Keiyaku of Japan which appeared in the 14th century the Munmugye and Hyangdogye of Korea which show after the 12th century. In other words, it is the comparison between the Gye and the Keiyaku that existed in Korea and Japan at the same age and the study of its social function. The Gye is in Korea and the Keiyaku is in Japan. But its functions are incredibly similar each other. One thing in common is that it is the voluntary social organization of all members. And, it is common that the organization set up through the promise and agreement of members. Also, it has in common that the Buddhism is the religious agreement and both participation and breakaway are free. Let’s have a look at the difference. The Keiyaku in Japan included the paragraph that swore the loyal to Shogun. This is the pledge of military fealty and submission that is the character in Japanese medieval society. The Gye in Korea is deeply related to the daily life and persue the game and the wish.
