The goal of this research catch hold of national image of china through the questionnaire analysis on five hundred middle school students in South Korea. The result of analysis on this questionnaire as follows. First, the most important factor that influences on the acquirement of historical knowledge is TV documentary and historical play(46.2%, n=231), and next to history textbooks(16.4%, n=82). Second, in view of the results on questionnaire, korean middle school students has low recognition about China’s Northeast Project(37.4%, n=187). Third, TV documentary and historical play are given most important weight in national image of china. This fact means that china’s national image of korean students are affected not by history class but by the mass media. Fourth, a matter of grave concern as a result of this questionnaire is that korean middle school students select china as the third threatening nation about the korean development and prosperity(16.8%, n=84). Although this study is accomplished by questionnaire on national image of china through responses of 500 korean middle school students, hereafter, national image of korea from the point of view of chinese high school students would be accomplished for the purpose of comparative analysis between korea and china. The method of historical stereotype research as a measure for analysis on national image should be conformed as a systematic and persuasive model of analysis on recognition to another countries.
