Various crops such as millet, barley, wheat, and buckwheat were produced in the period of Bohai dynasty. We have noted crops in special area. There are following samples. The first crop was the rice of Ro-Sung in the near of midterm capital. The midterm capital named Jung-Kyoong was located in the Hwa-Ryong, Jilin province. The rice of Ro-Sung was one of the important agricultural products. The Second crop was the bean paste of Chaek-Sung. Chaek-Sung was located in the Hoon-Choon, near bank of Tuman river. The third crop was millet, and fourth was maek(麥). But the maek was subdivided as little(wheat), big(barley), mild(oat), and black(rye). These crops were the principal foods of Bohai dynasty. The fifth crop was millet. This food material was used as main food like bread and wine. The Bohai's people cultivated millet by the experiences and productive techniques of Koguryo or Malgal. The last crops was Indian millet and back wheat. Indian millet was not only food but also constructive raw material. Buck wheat was the stuff in making paste and noodles.
