Rho, Pak-Lin’s Independence Movement in America

Kaewon Rho, Pak-Lin(桂園 盧伯麟, 1875-1926) was born on January 2nd 1875 in Hwang Hae Do(黃海道) and he received a government scholarship and went to the Japanese military school. He returned to Korea after graduation and became a high ranking government officer. Rho started the nationalism movement and after the Japanese invasion of Korea he then started the Independence movement. Korean take an Independence Movement by various means from 1910 when they were deprived of sovereignty by Japanese Imperialism. The end goals of this Independence Movement regains lost sovereignty and progressed diplomacy, military, education of ability etc. Military in means of Independence Movement is based the theory of Independence War and it means achieve independence though a war against Japanese Imperialism. So the people trained military affairs who professed theory of the war of independence in the Independence Movement. Rho, Pak-Lin was trained military in Hawaii after came to America as an exile and he was the Minister of Defence in the Provisional Government was radical in his the theory of Independent war, he trained military and flier and Willows CA. which a heated atmosphere of independence movement was raised the Independence Movement of 3ㆍ1 1919. That time increased necessary of air force because of the first War, training air force is essential fact in the independent war of future, that is very effect. He believed that this sacrifice in the war of independence is fund of diplomacy which was necessary to gain Independence of Korea.
