The Political Meaning of Auspicious Things in the Middle Period of Silla

This thesis analyzed the auspicious things in the middle period of Silla. Auspicious phenomena was written in Samguksagi. Seven people was appointed the Crown Prince in the middle period of Silla. Among of them, five people was presented Good Omens. The appointment of the Crown Prince was mainly consistent with the Good Omens. Whereas two queens among eight queens was presented Good Omens. We know that the appointment of the queens was not consistent with the Good Omens. Next, victorys and unification of three countries were correspond with the Good Omens. Royal Virtue was correspond with the Good Omens as well. For this reason, Good Omens in the middle period of Silla was not merely natural phenomena but political meaning.
