북한 『조선력사』 교과서에 나타난 서세동점기 서구 제국주의에 대한 이미지 분석

An Analysis of Image about western imperialism during western colonial time toward eastern countries in History Textbook “Chosun-Ryuksa”

Before and After 1860, western countries’ policies of imperialism and capitalism and target of colony struggle influenced into Chosun to be a country of morning calm. Those days, to be taken of reign power by Heung-Sun, father of King Kojong, Cho-sun boost exclusion of foreigners from the country that was represented by strengthening of King’s power, restructuring of reign system internally as well as rejecting of trade negotiation of western mega-powered countries. But, ten years when Heung-Sun got the powers after 1863 were the very important age that could make it being decided of the national destiny that was dependant on opening or not in/externally. About these situations, South and North Korea’s History Textbooks which are different from the ideology and system with each other describes how it is, And as 1st step of comparison and analysis about which historical valuation to be done, I tried to analyze about following items through this thesis based on the North korea’s history Textbooks. First, Historical valuation of history of Chosun about the response of Chosun and major countries of western imperialism in end of 19th centuries have very closed relationship with “Chu-Che ideology” of North Korea. Therefore, this thesis is focusing how “Chu-Che ideology” influences into the education of history in North korea. Second, through the analysis “Chosun-Ryuksa” to be North korea’s history Textbooks, I tried to get which subjects are melted in the following case - the grave robbery by Opert, the Affair of General Sherman, Byungin-yangyo(1866), Shinmi-yangyo(1871) that was military-crushed between Chosun and America or France. Third, I stressed the analysis of the images about imperialism majors like America and France that is written on the “Chosun-Ryuksa” through applying the methodology of historical stereotype and holding a simple quality analysis about the description of such majors in History Textbooks of North Korea. I tried to analyze hitting the road of images’ analysis about the western imperialism majors during the end of 19 centuries in this thesis, and attempt to analyze the same subject of South Korea’s History Textbooks, and doing so like above, I have a concept of making the boost to compare each others through applying the methodology of historical stereotype.
