FTA 인증수출자(Approved Exporter)제도 및 운영에 관한 연구

A Study on the Approved Exporter System and Operation in FTA - Approved Exporter Self Certification System of Japan -

The approved exporter system grants any exporter authorized by the competent customs authority a simplified issuance of origin certificates or submission of evidencing documents. The Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement entered into force on 1 July 2011. The Korea-EU FTA provides that any Korean exporter who intends to export to the EU any goods in excess of ？？ 6,000 and be eligible for preferential treatment shall be granted the approved exporter status. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the improvement of approved exporter system and operation in FTA with Korea after reviewing those of EU and Japan. In conclusion, we need to consider tightening post management about the authorization of approved exporter system to corresponds with the basic object of C/O self-issuance. And the standard approved exporter system should be established to apply most of FTA with Korea from now on for avoiding the spaghetti bowl effect.
