The global catch fishery has been exploited to its limit, and aquaculture is the only hope for meeting the world demand for fishery products. Aquaculture has grown rapidly in recent years and has promise for continued growth in Korea. However, to fulfil its potential role in Korea food supply, the aquaculture industry must counter criticisms about adverse environmental effects and lack of sustainability. The aquaculture industry should be proactive and work towards developing and implementing systems of environmental management based on best management practices. In the paper we describe different concepts for aquaculture sustainability and analyzed suitable input using a regression model which is regional environmental characteristics of marine finfish aquaculture in Korea. According to the result, almost all aquaculture species, sebastes schlegeli, black porgy, red sea bream, sea bass, yellowtail, filefish, take cultivating intensively and input based culture. The analysis results suggest that marine aquaculture should be reduce input for sustainable aquaculture and profitable business.
