우리나라 유ㆍ초ㆍ중등 학교재정 연구의 성과와 과제

The Current Research Trends of Korean School Finance Studies

본 연구는 우리나라의 학교재정 연구동향 및 연구성과를 분석하고, 이를 토대로 학교재정 연구의 과제를 제시하는 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 10년 간 「교육재정경제연구」 및 「교육행정학연구」에 게재된 학교재정 관련 연구논문을 연구목적 및 연구내용, 연구방법 등으로 나누어 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구목적과 연구내용의 측면에서 학교재정 현황 및 실태분석, 정책처방, 개선방안 제시 등 실제적이고 처방지향적인 연구들이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 학교재정 연구의 발전을 위해 처방지향적인 연구이외에도 학교재정 이론개발 및 검증, 규범 및 가치에 대한 연구 등이 함께 이루어질 필요가 있다. 둘째, 연구방법은 문헌연구와 기술통계를 활용한 연구가 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 셋째, 향후 심도 있는 학교재정 연구를 위해 보다 엄밀한 통계분석과 분석결과에 대한 이론적 논의와 해석이 필요함을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the current research trends and recommend the tasks of Korean school finance studies. To perform the study, 48 articles were selected and explored the articles published in the Journal of Educational Adminstration and the Journal of Economics and Finance of Education from 2001 to 2010 as well as how those articles had changed in research areas, aims, methods throughout the years. The results of this study are as follow. First, in research goal the most studies inclined toward practice oriented as well as remedy to prescribe a reality. That is, the majority of the studies was not on the theoretical but on the practical like an analysis of the actual conditions or presentation the improvements. Second, the analysis of research methods identified literature and descriptive statistical analysis have been relatively popular. Third, research topics and methods need more studies with the aim of developing theories or models. quantitative qualitative mixed methods.
