청년 일자리의 질 분석

The determinants of the job quality of young worker

본 논문은 청년 패널자료를 이용하여 청년들의 일자리 질에 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석방법은 주로 패널 임의효과 모형을 사용하여 개인의 미관찰 이질성 요인을 통제하고자 하였다. 우선 초기 노동이동은 일자리 질을 개선하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 미취업기간이 길어지면 임금수준도 낮추지만 주변부 부문에 속할 가능성도 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 초기 비정규직 경험이 향후 일자리 질을 낮추었다. 이러한 분석결과를 보면 초기 노동시장 경험이 향후 고용성과에 미치는 효과를 파악할 수 있다.

This paper explores the determinants of the job quality of young worker in Korea, using Youth Panel Survey(YP). This study uses the panel random-effect models to control unobserved heterogeneous characteristics of individual. I find the frequent job mobility doesn’t make to improve job quality. Jobless duration not only is negatively related with the current wage but also is weaken the probability of being periphery job. And the early nonstandard job experience lower in job quality. The results show how the experience of the early labor market affect the afterward outcome.
