유아교육기관에서 유아의 적응과 유아의 자아 존중감 및 사회적 능력과의 관계

본 연구는 유아교육 기관에서 유아의 적응과 유아의 자아존중감 간의 관련성, 유아교육기관에서 유아의 적응과 유아의 사회적 능력의 관련성에 대한 연구로 유아가 유아교육기관에 안정적으로 적응하고 자신의 잠재력을 최대한 발달시키기 위한 목적으로 연구되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 논의하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교육기관에서의 유아의 적응에 따르는 자아존중감을 성별에 따라 살펴본 결과 남아와의 적응과 자아존중감과의 관계는 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났으나 적응과 자아존중감의 관계를 하위 요소별로 보면 남아의 적응은 자아존중감의 하위요소 중 인지능력과 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교육기관에서의 유아의 적응에 따르는 사회적 능력은 성별에 따라 어떠한 관련성이 있는지 살펴본 결과 남아의 적응과 사회적 능력과의 관계는 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사회적 능력의 하위요소 중 친사회적 행동은 정서 상태, 또래 간의 적응, 일과에 대한 적응과 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고 사회적 능력의 하위 요소 중 외적 문제 행동은 친사회적 행동, 일과에 대한 적응과 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 능력의 하위요소 중 내적 문제 행동은 여아의 적응과 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 사회적 능력이 높을수록 유아교육기관에서 유아의 적응력이 높다고 본다. 이것은 사회적 능력이 높은 유아일수록 유아교육 기관에서의 적응능력 또한 높다는 것을 시사한다.

In this study a pre-school child’s adaptation and relevance of self-esteem of children, pre-school children in the child’s adaptive and social skills of relevance to the study of infant and early childhood education institutions to adapt their potential stable possible for the purpose of development were studied.
